This gorgeous plate is made from pewter from the island of Belitung (Billton in English) off the coast of Sumatra Indonesia. The plate features intricate hand-carved floral patterns and shapes.
The plate has some traces of wear, a few nicks around the edges, from where it was likely hung, and a few scratches on the surface.
It's still in beautiful display shape, and would add a beautiful bohemian texture to any wall or showcase.
