This cheerful little teardrop-shapped bud vase is aqua blue in color, cased in clear glass with a white rim around the top.

1960s artisan-made handblown glass from Scandinavia.

There are no makers marks or signatures. The style and bright coloring is very similar to some iconic midcentury glassmakers such as Holmegaard, Herwig, Carlo Moretti, and Balboa.

Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.

There is a smoothed pontil scar on the bottom of the vase, and the typical small air bubbles and "factory flaws" found in handblown pieces. View photos for details.

A beautiful example of Mid Century cased glass. This little vase is the perfect size to place on a shelf or table without overwhelming the space.
